I'm proud to say that I fall into the latter category as I believe as long as an item is wearable, it doesn't really matter where it came from.
One of the stores that should definitely be on your go-to-list for branded items at discount prices is Garment Division.
They pride themselves as specialising in fashion at discounted prices, with their buyers sourcing Chain Store overruns and international brands direct for retail.
This means that you can enjoy branded items at a low price.
I first heard about Garment Division from a colleague of mine about a year ago, when she said that you could get all the big brands from stores such as Identity, for a fraction of the cost.
I took her word for it and went in search of my nearest store, and it was just as she had explained.
Items from the big chain stores included jackets usually R300, retailing at R120. There were branded tops that usually sell for R150, retailing for R70 at Garment Division.
The savings were insane!
There's something for everyone with both kiddies and adult ranges, with everything from clothing to accessories and shoes.
It's also great that Garment Division offers Lay Byes.
This means that if you see something you like you can make a down-payment for it, as opposed to waiting until month end when it could possibly be sold out.
Another bonus is that Garment Division offers a Pensioners as well as a Student Discount. Pensioners get 10% off their shopping every Monday while Students get 10% of their shopping every day of the week.
So if the idea of buying branded items at a lower price with the option to lay-bye excites you, head on over to Garment Division.
They have stores in Durban, Pinetown, Chatsworth and Pietermaritzburg.
